The Columbia–Adair County Fire Department was dispatched at 1:41 PM Sunday afternoon to 2997 Glensfork Road on a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions coming from both the front and rear of the structure. Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and were able to bring the fire under control, containing it to the structure.

Firefighters then conducted an extensive overhaul to extinguish any remaining hot spots and ensure the fire was completely extinguished.

The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. No injuries were reported. A total of 10 firefighters responded and remained on scene for approximately 3 hours.
