A Pulaski County husband and wife will spend a total of 100 years behind bars following federal and state convictions for severe child sexual abuse offenses.
Christopher Ethridge, 39, and Amy Ethridge, 30, both of Somerset, were each sentenced to 30 years in prison for the production of child sexual abuse material. According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, these federal sentences will run consecutively to prior 70-year state sentences—resulting in a combined 100-year prison term for both individuals.
In the state case, Christopher Ethridge was convicted of first-degree rape involving a toddler, while Amy Ethridge was convicted of complicity to commit rape against the same victim.
Federal authorities revealed that the abuse occurred on August 23, 2024, when Christopher Ethridge produced illegal material with the aid of his wife. Investigators also uncovered evidence showing the couple had discussed abusing the child and had even drafted a handwritten contract detailing specific acts of abuse they were permitted to perform.
