COLUMBIA, Ky. (October 26, 2026) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 15 have arrested an Adair County man during a burglary investigation in Adair County.
Just after 10:00 P.M. on October 23, 2026, Troopers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on Little Cake Road in Adair County. Upon arrival, Troopers determined that David Riley West, 22, of Columbia, had gained entry into his brother’s residence by force and refused to leave.
As a result of the investigation, Trooper Sean Sweat arrested David West, charging him with Burglary 2nd Degree. Mr. West was lodged in the Adair County Detention Center. Trooper Sweat continues the investigation.
