A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested Friday evening following a grand jury indictment on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material, according to Kentucky State Police Post 15.
The arrest stems from an investigation initiated in August 2026, when KSP Post 15 received a report regarding a teenager in possession of illicit material. Detective Zach Scott responded to a residence on Birdie Avenue in Campbellsville to begin the inquiry.
On Oct. 23, 2026, the case was presented to the Taylor County Grand Jury. The grand jury returned an indictment charging the juvenile with:
6 counts of Use of a Minor Under 16 in a Sexual Performance
6 counts of Possession or Viewing of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor Over 12 but Under 18 Years of Age
Master Trooper Nick Davis served the indictment on the juvenile later that evening.
The teenager was taken into custody and lodged at the Adair Youth Development Center, where he is currently being held on a $250,000 bond. Due to the suspect's age, authorities have not released his identity.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Detective Scott with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
