Woody Gosser, age 74 of Russell Springs, died Friday at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was born February 17, 1943 in Cinn., Ohio to the late Finis & Dorthy Popplewell Gosser. At a young age, Woody accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and became a faithful member of Salen United Baptist Church. He taught Sunday School class served as church clerk for 39 years. Woody was an educator, supporting and representing teachers as the Kentucky Educational Association (KEA) Uniserv Director for the Middle Cumberland Region for over 37 years. He also enjoyed farming in his spare time.
In addition to his parents, Woody was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Gosser.

Funeral service for Woody Gosser will be 11am Monday at Salem United Baptist Church with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating. Interment in the Square Oak Cemetery. Visitation 4-8pm today (Sunday) and after 8am Monday at Bernard Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
