Hilda Mae (Gribbons) Johnson Cleaver, age 85 of Campbellsville, KY entered into rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her home after an extended illness. Born on May 5, 1932 to the late Roy and Leena (Childers) Gribbons.
Mrs. Cleaver graduated from Campbellsville College and was a retired LPN with over 17 years of service at Medco and over 5 years at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Pearl Garrett, Lula Bright, Jean Hughes, and Mildred Payne; and two grandchildren, Michael Johnson and Joseph Johnson; a great-grandchild, Kasey Michelle Upchurch; and a daughter-in-law, Nadine Johnson.

5 children: Beverly Johnson Cox of Campbellsville, Timothy Johnson of Campbellsville, Charlie Wayne Cleave and wife Beverly of Indiana, Larry Wayne Cleaver, Jr. of Indiana, and Kathy Danaham and husband Tom of Illinois

A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and several other family and close friends
There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Cleaver on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2:00pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Rev. Kathy Danaham will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Washington Cemetery, Saloma Rd, Campbellsville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pmET.
