Donald Mason, age 72 of Liberty, KY passed away on October 24, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born on October 29, 1944, in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late Coy Gilbert and Eva “MClullon” Mason. Donald owned and operated a saw mill. He was a member of Labascus Church of Christ. Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out at McDonalds.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thompson Mason of Liberty; a sister, Phyllis Baldock of Liberty; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Miller; and a brother.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
