CHARLES ESTES MCKINLEY, 88, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Charles Estes (Charlie) McKinley of Campbellsville, son of the late Homer McKinley and Lucille Herriford McKinley, was born October 16, 1929 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 3:21 A.M., Friday, October 27, 2017 in Bowling Green. Age: 88
 
He professed his faith in Christ in 1939 and became a faithful member of Campbellsville Christian Church where he was a former Elder.
 
He was a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a retired salesman for Campbellsville Industries and former plant manager at Parker Kalon. He enjoyed golfing and watching all kinds of sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats.
 
He united in marriage to Sue Skaggs June 4, 1952 and she preceded him in death August 31, 2004. 
 
SURVIVORS:
1 daughter and 2 sons: Janie Giles & husband Jerry of Bowling Green; Jeff McKinley & wife Jane of Ooltewah, Tennessee; Mike McKinley of Rochester, Minnesota; 
4 grandchildren: Christopher Ellis and wife Libby of Bowling Green, Sarah Adcox of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Jennifer Romans and husband Matthew of Ringgold, Georgia and Rosalind McKinley of Rochester, Minnesota
7 great-grandchildren
1 brother-in-law, Richard McMahan of Campbellsville
1 sister-in-law, Sally Skaggs Johnson of Louisville
A very dear friend, Mary Peterson and her daughters Charlotte Williams, Fran Spaulding and Renee Branham and their families
several nieces and nephews and many other relative and friends. 
 
He was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita McMahan.
 
VISITATION: 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Sunday, Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home
 
FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Monday, October 30, 2017 
at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. Paul Patton
 
BURIAL: Brookside Cemetery
