Phyllis Marie Vaughn Cooper of Liberty, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her home. She was 78 years of age.
Born July 2, 1939, in Dunnville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Della Lewellen Vaughn. Phyllis was a homemaker. She loved to make crafts, sew and quilt.
Survivors include one son, Mike (Tammy) Cooper of Liberty; one daughter, Donna Cooper of Liberty; one brother, Lilburn (Lynda) Vaughn of Liberty; five grandchildren, Jason Cooper, Amy Cooper Justin Cooper, Amanda Cooper and Amber Cooper; five great-grandchildren, Michaela Q. Cooper, Syndey Hogue, Alexander Cooper, McKenzie Mings and Maddie Mings; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Lloyd Cooper, who passed away on March 20, 1984.
Funeral services are 12:00 P.M. EST. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Sister Kim Koger officiating. Burial will follow in Hiter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
