Lois Tarter Carson, age 89, of Dunnville, KY passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born on March 5, 1928, in Adair County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Linnie Dickenson Tarter. She was a beautician in Liberty for many years. She later went on to become a state inspector of beauty salons. She traveled the state and met friends everywhere she went, always with a story to tell! Lois was also a long-time treasurer of Antioch Christian Church. She loved to quilt and share her talents with her friends and family members.

Many great nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “R.C.” Carson, who passed away on November 12, 2004; two brothers, Thomas “Howard” Tarter and Ray Tarter; a nephew, Mark Tarter; and a sister-in-law, Vivian W. Tarter.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00pmET on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Bryce McCulley officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
