Sarah “Sally” Haggard, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Casey County Hospital. She was 67.
Born on December 22, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Shurte Moore and the late Edmund Moore. Sarah was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Ron Haggard, whom she wed on April 25, 1981; two daughters, Amanda McHugh of Reading, Ohio, and Sarah Haggard of Fairfield Township, Ohio; a son, Joseph (Susan) Haggard of Harrison, Ohio; her mother, Elizabeth Shurte Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio; and four brothers, Steve (Debbie) Moore of Nashville, Tennessee, Phillip Moore of Reading, Ohio, Andrew (Jeanne) Moore of Milford, Ohio, and David (Cindy) Moore of Reading, Ohio. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Brittaney, Megan, Eli, Abby, Collin, Brayden, Sam, Brennen, Kai, and Lillian.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Moore.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Shackleford officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
