Elsie Mason Lee Davis, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Dayton Hospice House. She was 70.
Born on August 11, 1947, in Liberty, Kentucky, she was a daughter of Ruth Carter Mason and the late Chester Mason. Elsie dedicated her life to caring for others after serving 20+ years as a Registered Nurse. She was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Janett (Ronnie) Edwards of Lawrenceburg and Devonda Righter of Union, KY; a son, Richard (Dawn) Lee of Dayton, OH; and four grandchildren, Alison Lee, Melissa Lee, Timmy Lee and Austin Righter. Other survivors include four sisters, Sharon Close of Campbellsville, Lois Jean Eads, Angela Mason and Karen Mason, all of Liberty; and a brother, Ron Mason of Erlanger, KY.
In addition to her father, Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gregory Davis, who passed away on September 21, 2003; her previous husband, Joseph Lee; a sister, Shirley Wagner; and two brothers, Jack Mason and Paul Mason.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 25, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
