Jim Garnett Burris, 90, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness. He was born on June 15, 1928 to the late Willie & Pearl (Downey) Burris.
Mr. Burris had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He was a heavy equipment operator, and the owner/operator of Garnett Burris Excavating. A veteran of the United States Army, he served his country honorably during the Korean War. He loved his family and friends, and spent as much time as possible with them.

He was preceded in death by 7 siblings: Belle Keltner, Barbara Ann Simpson, Catherine Holmes, Ray Burris, Paul Burris, Coakley Burris, and Gilbert Burris.
