Doris Dean Haskins Mitchell, age 84, was born August 29, 1933 in Green County, KY to the late Shed and Lottie Penick Haskins. She departed this life Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greensburg.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe Mitchell, son James Nelson Mitchell, sisters and brothers: Sally Anderson, Columbus Haskins, Mary Lucy Johnson, Penick Haskins and Spencer Haskins.
SURVIVORS: 5 sons: Ronald and Tina Davis Mitchell of Columbia, George R. Mitchell of Greensburg, Ralph E. and Patricia Mitchell of North Aurora, Illinois, Josiah “Jodie” and Teresa Mitchell of Campbellsville, Roderick “Rudy” Mitchell of Greensburg, 2 daughters: Phenelphia D. Williams of Batavia, Illinois and Catherine E. and Thomas Kleinfieldt of Aurora, Illinois, 1 step-son: Gary Harris of Bardstown, KY, 1 brother: Milton Ray and Mattie Haskins of Louisviile, 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Wake and Visitation: 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Friday, July 27, 2018 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg and after 9 a.m. Central time Saturday at 2nd Baptist Church.
