Lucile Ruth (Kennedy) Petkus, 80, of the Casey Creek area passed from this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018 in Campbellsville. Born in Orleans County, New York on September 6, 1938 to the late Raymond and Arvilla (Williams) Kennedy.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Petkus, or Lucy, as she was affectionately known, was married to Mr. James Petkus, who survives. She loved her family and raising a garden, and her tradition of decorating her home for every holiday will continue in her honor.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Steve Orr officiating
There will also be a memorial service held in New York in the spring of 2019.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sep. 19, 2018 from 2:00 PM until time for the service
