SHANNON JOHNSON, 36, GREENSBURG

 
Shannon Leigh Akers Johnson, 36, of Greensburg, KY passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
 
SURVIVORS:
Husband: James Johnson of Greensburg
1 son: Jackson Johnson, Greensburg, KY
2 daughters: Isabella "Bella" Johnson; Mackenzie "Kenzie" Johnson, both of Greensburg, KY
Father & step-mother: Kenny Lee and Elizabeth Akers of Mt. Sherman
Mother: Carol Jean Slinker of Summersville
Father-in-law:  Rocky Mitchell of Louisville
Grandmother-in-law:  Analeta Bristow of Louisville
4 brothers and a sister: Joshua Akers of Summersville, Kendrick & Tiffany Akers of Greensburg, Mckenna Akers, Wesley Akers & Katie Akers all of Mt. Sherman
Sister-in-law and brother-in-law:  Kim and Steve Hornung of Shepherdsville
Nieces and Nephews: Alivia Akers of Buffalo, Conner Akers, Aksel Akers both of Elizabethtown, Savannah Hornung, Mckayla Hornung, Gavin Hornung all of Shepherdsville, and Alton Akers of Greensburg.

Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, and will be announced by the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
 
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Shannon Johnson Memorial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
