Jimmy Tapscott, 68, of Liberty, KY passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at his home. Born August 3, 1950 in Casey County, KY, he was a son of the late James and Bertha Long Tapscott.
Jimmy was a retired machine operator for ATR Wire and Cable. He was saved and baptized in the Christian faith. Jimmy loved driving his cars, riding his motorcycles, and hanging out at McDonalds.
SURVIVORS: 1 son, Michael Tapscott and fiancé, April Mullins, of Danville; 1 sister, Rose Peyton of Liberty; 4 brothers, Otis Tapscott, Shirley Tapscott, and Ronnie (Debbie) Tapscott all of Liberty, and Oval (Brenda) Tapscott of Campbellsville; 2 grandsons, Lane & Brady.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Long.
