Bobbie Blakeman, 83, was born June 20, 1935 in Taylor County, KY to the late Early and Alma Coffey Blakeman. He departed this life Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Green Hill Nursing and Rehab.
He had a made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Baptist Church for 58 years. He was a National Guard Veteran and a member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post 124 Greensburg, KY. He was united in marriage to Margaret Henderson Blakeman, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers: Temple Kirtley, Edna Parrott, Lula Havens, Olin, Early, Craddock, Leo and Melvin Blakeman.
SURVIVORS: 2 sons and 1 daughter: Greg Blakeman and his wife Janet, Myra Rodgers and Todd Blakeman all of Greensburg, 1 brother and 3 sisters: George Blakeman of Fort Worth, Texas, Cleo Underwood of Campbellsville, Nora Graybeal of Paducah and his twin sister: Barbara Loyall of Brentwood, Tennessee, 4 grandchildren: Alec and Chrissy Rodgers of Greensburg, Blake and Cassie Rodgers of Nashville, Tennessee, Chase Blakeman of Lexington, KY and Taryn Hedgespeth of Campbellsville, 4 great grandchildren: Grayson and Ethan Rodgers, Connor and Kate Hedgespeth, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: 12 Noon Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY
Visitation: 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 7 a.m. Wednesday
Ministers: Rev. Todd Young and Rev. Meryl Young
Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery, Green County, KY
Pallbearers: Jerry Cowherd, Clifford Cook, Jim Curry, Sherman Dudley, Tim Darnell, Arthur Chaudoin
