John Russell Gilbert, 50, of Campbellsville, KY passed away at his home on Friday, November 30, 2018. He was born on February 20, 1968 to James Robert and the late Ruth Ann (Maze) Gilbert.
John was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed being a fix-it man and painter to his family and friends. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith.

3 grandchildren: Lexi Gabehart, Logan Pritchard, and Katlyn Wheatley

He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Kyle Collett and Rider Collett.
Funeral Service: Monday, December 3, 2018 at 1:00pmET in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Evan Tedder officiating
Interment: Elkhorn Cemetery
Visitation: Monday, Dec. 3, after 10:00amET until time for the service at the funeral home
