Thurston Sullivan, 81, of Louisville, KY (formerly of the Cundiff community of Adair County) died Monday, December 10, 2018 at his residence. Born in Adair County, he was the son of the late Richard Colonel and Jessie Marie Hadley Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan was retired from the U. S. Army and the Corp of Engineers. He was an avid hunter and of the Methodist faith.

1 brother: Randall Sullivan (Martha) of Greensburg, KY
1 sister: Adrian Doris Hadley of Columbia
Several nieces and 1 nephew
Funeral Service: 11:00amCT on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Helm officiating
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Thursday at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Sean Sullivan, Byron Sullivan, Randall Sullivan, Dwight Hadley, Terry Hadley, David Hadley, Dwan Hadley, Wendell Sturgill and Chris Mims.
Full military rites will be presented by Columbia VFW Post 6097 at the graveside.
