H. C. “Boss” Gore, 84, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Robert Gore and Delta Cravens Gore, was born October 4, 1934 in Adair County, KY. He died at home with his loving wife, Maye by his side at 4:38 A.M., Friday, December 14, 2018 in Campbellsville.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Wayne Gore February 3, 2003 and one brother and two sisters: Harvey R. Gore September 4, 2005, Jean Brockman November 4, 2014 and Magdalene Dudgeon August 28, 2017.
He professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Baptist Temple. He loved to sing about the Lord and attended many gospel singings with Maye. H.C. retired after forty years from KABA Select Sires in Louisville, where he was a breeding technician. Boss enjoyed working with cattle, both at work and on his farm. He was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

6 grandchildren: Jennifer Buckman, Mark Marcum and wife Summer, and Rylee Gore of Campbellsville, Caleb Buckman and wife Sarah of Calvary, Brittany Miller and husband Jim and Ashley Hill and husband Kash of Greensburg
6 great-grandchildren: Cody Allen Foster, Bentley Buckman, Lincoln Buckman, Conner Buckman, Clara Miller & Avery Marcum
1 sister: Rebecca Blankenship of Columbia
