JOANN MCCARTY, 81, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Joanna McCarty, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Harry Chaney and Jewell Bryant Chaney, was born September 30, 1937 in Fayette County, KY.  She died at 1:45 P.M., Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Campbellsville.   
 
She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. Joanna was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, was co-owner and operator of Druther’s Restaurant in Campbellsville with her husband, Charles and she enjoyed helping at the food bank.
 
She united in marriage to Charles McCarty May 7, 1957 and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2012. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Betty Martin & Cindy Gaede.
 
SURVIVORS: 
2 sons: Steve McCarty & wife Roxann, Campbellsville, KY; Rick L. McCarty & wife Jen of Winchester, TN
1 daughter: Kathy Clark & husband Greg, Campbellsville, KY
6 grandchildren: Stephanie McCarty of Henderson, KY, Beth Clark-Milby & husband Brandon of Richmond, KY, Sean McCarty & wife Brooke of Nashville, TN, Makenzie McCarty of Tullahoma, TN, Rick McCarty & wife Rayna of Abileen, TX, Jonathon McCarty of New Orleans, LA
4 great-grandchildren: Mya McCarty, Myles McCarty, Mia McCarty & Ava Cowherd
3 sisters: Debby Bennett of Campbellsville, KY; Opal Burton of Lexington, KY; Donna McCormack & husband John of Florida
2 brothers: Harry Chaney, Jr. & wife Jamie of Dallas, Texas; Danny Chaney
Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
