Mildred Jones, of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at James B. Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg. She was 79. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Born on June 16, 1939, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Gilmer and Molly Gadberry.
Mildred was a devout Evangelist and a prayer warrior for anyone that had a need. She was an all-around wonderful Mother. Mildred was a homemaker.
SURVIVORS: 2 daughters, Edith (and J.D.) Case of Burgin and Judy (and Barry) Johnson of Hustonville; 3 sons, Danny (and Jorene) Gadberry of Danville, Jerry (and Barbara) Jones of Harrodsburg and Cecil Jones, Jr. of Danville; 12 grandchildren & 28 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Shirley (and Boyd) Wesley of Danville and Ruby Dick of Pulaski County; 1 daughter-in-law, Mary Kay Jones of Danville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones, Sr., who passed away on June 4, 1989; a son, Randy Jones; four sisters; and six brothers.
