MARJORIE NADEAN ANTLE, 66, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Marjorie Nadean Antle of Campbellsville, 66, was born on November 10, 1932 in Taylor County, KY to the late Lewis Nathan “Doc” and Eliza Ethel (Ford) Barnett. She died Friday, February 15, 2019 at 1:20 AM at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. 
 
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Elkhorn Baptist Church. As a young lady, she met and fell in love with Mr. Don Antle, and they married on April 25, 1953. They would share their love until his death in 2018. Mrs. Antle was a former cafeteria manager in the Campbellsville Independent School System, and enjoyed quilting and raising a garden. She was the matriarch of a close-knit and well-respected family, and her devotion to her grandchildren was paramount.
 
She was also preceded in death by 6 siblings: Alvin Barnett, Willis Barnett, Howard Barnett, Leslie Barnett, Hazel Wright, and Barbara Sprowles.
 
SURVIVORS:
2 daughters: Donna Antle of Campbellsville; Jeanean Malone & husband Larry of Buffalo
4 grandchildren: Andrea Lawhorn & husband Phil, Adam Dobson & wife Rachael, Andrew Dobson & companion Maranda Quinn, and Austin Malone
6 great-grandchildren: Chase Lawless, Brianna Dobson, Cayton Lawhorn, Aubri Dobson, Addyson Dobson, and Mason Baldwin-Schiess
1 brother-in-law: Charles Sprowles of Fairdale

Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Dr. Brian Rafferty, Bro. Eddie Finn, and Rev. Haywood Riner officiating
 
Burial: She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery
 
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 18, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home
 
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles. Those can be made in person at the funeral home.
