SUE NEATHERY, 85, BURKESVILLE

 
Sue N. Neathery, 85, of Burkesville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY. She was born in Dubre, KY on Tuesday, June 6, 1933, the daughter of Kyle and Ruby (Roberts) Norris. 
 
Sue was a member of the First Christian Church of Burkesville, a Bookkeeper at Farmers Exchange for 14 years, Secretary for the Powder Plant in Charlestown, Indiana, and a Retired School Teacher for the Cumberland County Board of Education. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Randolph Neathery, whom she wed Monday, October 30, 1950, son, Michael Paul Neathery, sister, Elise (Norris) Gray, and brother-in-law, Jon Frederick. 
 
SURVIVORS: 1 son, James Kyle (Nancy P.) Neathery of Lexington, KY; 1 sister, Judy Frederick of Burkesville, KY; 1 granddaughter, Molly Knigge of Prospect, KY; 3 great-grandchildren, Madeline, Grace, and Drew-Elise; special caregivers, Alta, Marie, and Patience; special neighbors, Danny and Gail Lee, Cricket McCoy; special friends, Roger Dyer, Libby Henson, Brenda Garmon, Janet Hume, Janette Grubbs; her dog and special companion, Mitzi
 
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY with Bro. Terry Shelley officiating
 
Burial: Marrowbone Cemetery 
 
Visitation: After 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019 until the funeral hour on Saturday
