Kathryn Louise Mann Smothers, 85, of Taylor County, KY passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1933 to the late Henry Gilbert and Ethel Levice Minor.
Mrs. Smothers had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mannsville United Methodist Church. She was a woman of love and compassion, and she enjoyed providing a warm and comfortable home to her family. Mrs. Smothers retired from Mannsville School and Taylor County Hospital, where she had been employed as a cafeteria worker.
She was married to Henry Mann, who preceded her in death. Later, she was married to Billy Smothers, who survives.

4 great-great grandchildren: Clayton Begley, Blakelynn Begley, Barron Begley, and Allessa Cundiff
1 daughter-in-law: Judy Mann

She was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Danny Mann and Darrell Mann; 4 siblings: Hanley Minor, Rodford Minor, Nell Minor, and Thelma Minor; and a great-granddaughter: Kaitlyn Mann.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Richard Lowe and Bro. John Hall officiating
Burial: Mann Cemetery, Taylor County
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb 26, from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral
