PHILLIP DALE ROBERTSON, 78, RUSSELL CO.

 
Phillip Dale Robertson, 78, was born March 29, 1941 in Russell County, KY to the late Lewis and Dorothy Richards Robertson. He departed this life Friday evening March 29, 2019 at his home.
 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army, August 1963-August 1965. He was a member of American Legion Post 124 Greensburg and James L Pruitt VFW Post 5813 Greensburg .
 
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine Hardwick Robertson (August 8,2015) and one sister Annetta Pearl Calhoun.
 
SURVIVORS: 1 son & his wife: Doug & Carolyn Robertson; 3 daughters & their spouses: Renea Wright and Matthew Snow, Jennifer & Steve Matney and Annetta Raley, all of Greensburg, KY; 7 grandchildren: Amber Pegram, Breanna Robertson, Haley, Brice and Cade Matney, Dallon and Cody Raley; 4 great grandchildren: Livi, Braddock and Branston Pegram and Braelynn Patterson,; 2 sisters: Lorene Barnett and Betty Ashbrook of Russell Springs, KY; 1 brother: Charles “George” Robertson of Louisville, KY
 
Funeral Service: 12 Noon Central Time Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral
 
Visitation: 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Central Time Monday and after 7 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg
 
Officiating: Bro. Gleason Bloyd & Bro. Tim Judd
 
Interment: Liberty Separate Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors by Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard
 
Pallbearers: Doug Robertson, Steve Matney, Brice Matney, Cade Matney, Dallon Raley and Cody Raley
 
Honorary Pallbearers: Ray Hudgins, Mitchell Hudgins, Barry Absher, Steve Hartfield, Granddaughters and Great-grandchildren
 
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to Hosparus. These can be made at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY.
