John Edwin Mascarenas, 75, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late David Mascarenas and Anita Smith Mascarenas, was born April 5, 1944, in Penasco, New Mexico. He died at 8:20 P.M., Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Louisville.
He was of the Catholic faith and he served his country honorably for twenty-one years in the United States Army. John was also a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. He was a member of many different American Legion posts across the United States, was an avid bowler and was a very caring person who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers, 1 sister, 1 nephew, 1 brother-in-law and his mother-in-law & father-in-law.
He united in marriage to Carmelita Howard August 5, 1980.
