James Tilford Stotts, 82, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence. Born in Columbia, KY he was the son of the late George and Evelyn Bragg Stotts and husband of the late Pauline Burton Stotts.
James was a very outspoken and opinionated man, quite stubborn yet very loving and passionate with those closest to him. He will be greatly missed.

1 son: Jon Stotts (Francis) of Louisville, KY
1 grandson: Jon Stotts, Jr. (Kristen)
2 great granddaughters of Cape Coral, FL
2 sisters: Delores Daymude of Corpus Christi, TX; Carol Lombard-Huggins of San Antonio, TX
His companion of 22 years: Shirley Burton of Columbia
4 step-children: Cindy Burton, Allan Trent (Missie), Bonnie Trent and Bobbie Sue Byerly (Clayton)
Several step-grandchildren & great-grandchildren
Mr. Stotts chose cremation and wishes to be laid to rest next to his deceased wife, Pauline Burton Stotts at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Shirley Burton.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
