Laymon Norris, 80, of Columbia died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his residence. Born in Cumberland County, KY he was the son of the late: Robert Austin and Clara Melton Norris.
Laymon worked at Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, fishing, ginseng hunting and dog trading.
He was preceded in death by his companion for 37 years, Paula Fulp on April 20, 2015.

1 brother: Gerald Norris (Sandra) of Columbia, KY
5 grandchildren: Kayla Norris, Myka Ray, Nathan Norris, Nicholas Norris, Austin Norris
1 great grandchild: Weston Norris
Melissa Richard & husband Hobby, Kelly Ford, Roger Richard and Rayson Richard all of whom he loved like his own children

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: Beginning at 9:00amCT on Tuesday until the funeral hour
