WILLIAM ALLEN "BILLY" RICE, 43, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 

William Allen “Billy” Rice, 43, of Campbellsville, KY passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1975 a son of the late Elizabeth Ann Bricker Cox & William David Rice who survives. 
 
Billy was the assistant manager at Mannsville Tire and a faithful attendee of Mannsville United Methodist Church. Billy’s physically large heart manifested itself in selfless acts of kindness toward all. He loved talking, and crowded get-togethers were a favorite pastime. His fun-loving yet sincere spirit made him easily approachable to people from all walks of life, and he valued each friendship.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann (Bricker) Cox, in 1999.

Wife: Amanda (Sidebottom) Rice of Campbellsville
2 children: Austin Cox, of Campbellsville; Lydia Sidebottom & fiancé Travis Walden, of Campbellsville
Father: William David Rice & wife Belinda of Columbia
Step-parents: Sam Cox & wife Yvonne of Campbellsville
Grandmother: Jacqueline Bricker of Columbia
2 sisters: Megan Yancey & husband Josh of Campbellsville; Jo Allison Rice of Campbellsville
2 grandchildren: Annabelle and Drake Walden
Mother-in-law: Midge Hunt of Campbellsville
1 brother-in-law: Derek Sidebottom & wife Nickie of Lebanon
1 nephew: Xavier Cato of Columbia

Funeral Service: Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 2:00pmET (1:00pmCT) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. John Hall officiating
 
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 3878 Old Greensburg Rd, Campbellsville, KY
 
Visitation: Saturday, June 8, 2019 after 5:00pmET (4:00pmCT) at the funeral home
 
Two of the things Billy was passionate about were his church and animals in need. Therefore, please consider memorials in the form of donations to the Taylor County Animal Shelter or the Mannsville United Methodist Church.
