J.W. Spears, 80, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was born on August 9, 1938 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Dewey and Cora Pearl Branham Spears.
J.W. was a former employee of American Testing and Engineering Corporation and Arco Mining. He was a member of Waterview Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Aldon (Mary Kate) Spears, Ruth (Calvin Coolidge) Humphrey, Margoline (Junior) McMahan and her 2nd husband Steve Holmes, and 1 infant sister, Betty Spears.
