Robert Eldred “Bob” Ware, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Delbert Dee Ware and Hattie Eldred Ware was born February 13, 1928 in Mason, Michigan. He died at 9:44 P.M., Friday, August 2, 2019 at his home.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mason First Presbyterian Church and attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Campbellsville. He was a retired pharmacist having owned and operated the family pharmacy in Mason, Michigan. Bob’s family and community were very important to him; he had served many years on the local school and bank boards. He loved nature and the outdoors and photographed many wildflowers on his travels in the Smoky Mountains and many other locations. Bob also loved hiking, golfing; playing Bridge and meeting new people.
He united in marriage to Erma Mae Roose June 10, 1950. She preceded him in death October 24, 2004. He later married Vera Nealy Bower June 9, 2007.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Ed Ware and Harold Ware.
SURVIVORS: Wife: Vera Ware; 1 daughter & 2 sons: Julie Ware Brower and husband, Ross Brower of East Lansing, Michigan, Dan Ware and wife, Sue Polock Ware and Steve Ware and wife, Carolee Beckman Ware of Mason, Michigan; 1 step-daughter: Leslie Corbin of Campbellsville; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; special caregivers: Angie Pedigo and Betty Purracchio; and many other relatives and friends.
