CECIL PAUL YOUNG, 91, BURKESVILLE

 
Cecil Paul Young, 91, of Burkesville, KY passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital. Cecil was born on October 24, 1927 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Willie Paul Young and Agnes Garrett Young. 
 
He was a retired truck driver for Kerns Bakery after 24 years of service and after retirement was a fishing guide on Dale Hollow Lake for five years. Cecil was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church.
 
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Garner Young, one brother, Clayton Young, and two sisters, Hazel Prewitt and Dorothy Smith.
 
SURVIVORS:
1 Son: Dewyane Young & wife Diane of Cottontown, TN
2 Daughters: Darlene Riddle & husband Jimmy of Albany, KY; Karla Young &husband DeWayne Mee of Burkesville, KY
8 Grandchildren: Scotty Young, Teschia Beaty, Deana Greene & husband Jason, Scott Atchley & wife Tanna, Susan Kessler & husband David, Colten Mee, Dalton Mee, Sabrina Thacker
8 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great Great Grandchildren
A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends 
 
Funeral Service: Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY 
 
Burial: Modoc Cemetery
 
Visitation: Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 2 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home
