GALEDON ROSCOE HUNT, 67, CAMPBELLSVILLE

 
Galedon Roscoe Hunt, 67, son of the late Welburn and Ophia (Spurling) Hunt, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at his home after a sudden illness. 
 
He was raised in the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, and later attended the Saloma Baptist Church with his wife as his health allowed. He was a retired employee of the City of Campbellsville, having worked many years driving a truck for the sanitation department. He didn’t simply overcome physical hardships – he truly enjoyed working. His ready smile and genuine heart will be dearly missed.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Donna Mendoza.

Wife: Jaunett Prince Hunt
2 children: Patrick Hunt & wife April; Amanda Hunt
1 step-son: David Richerson & wife Teresa
8 siblings: Melvin Hunt, Pauline Cash, Donnie Hunt & wife Sue, Sondra Gilbert & husband Danny, Sharon Wethington, Colane Hunt & wife Teresa, Priscilla Wooley & husband Bud, and Teddy Hunt
7 grandchildren
1 expectant grandchild

Funeral Service: Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home
 
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
 
Visitation: Sunday, September 29, from 12:00 noon until time for the service
 
L.R. Petty in charge of arrangements.
