Linda Goodin Burton, 81, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, October 3, 2019 in the Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Health Louisville. Born in Adair County, KY she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Lois Marie Holt Goodin and wife of the late Hollis Burton.
Mrs. Burton was a very Christian lady that attended the Bloomington Brethren in Christ Church and was retired from Shepherd Grade Center after 43 years of service to the school and the children, which she loved very much. She was an avid reader and loved listening to Gospel music.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Sue Newton; 1 brother, Fred Goodin and 2 sisters-in-law: Carol and Brenda Goodin.

1 son: Randy Burton of Columbia
7 grandchildren: Amanda Lewis (Chris), Derek Lloyd (Christy), Mickey Burton, Jeremy Burton (Tina), Ali Burton, Jaylyn Bailey (Jodi Andrew) and Jamian “Bit” Bailey ( Miranda)
8 great grandchildren: Parker Lewis, Ellie Lloyd, Nora Lloyd, Allie Burton, Brayden Burton, Jayden Burton, Tanner Burton and Tyler Burton
Special daughter-in-law: Tish Burton of Columbia

Funeral Service: 2:00pmCT on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home Bro. Richard Lehman will be officiating
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: Saturday from 3:00-8:00pmCT and Sunday morning until time for the service at the funeral home
Pallbearers: Jaylyn Bailey, Jamian Bailey, Derek Lloyd, Chris Lewis, Jeremy Burton, Ali Burton, Eric Goodin and Jason Goodin
Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
