EDNA LUE KIRK, 89, CUMBERLAND CO.

 
Edna Lue (Pace) Kirk, 89, of Mud Camp Road in Cumberland County, KY passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Cumberland County Hospital. She was born in the Waterview community of Cumberland County April 26, 1930, the daughter of Charles Ray Winston “Gray” and Nevada (Alexander) Pace. 
 
She was a devout Christian, a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (founded by Walter Keen Norris), and an assistant Teacher for Lake Cumberland Head Start for more than 20 years. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Malcolm Kirk, Sr. whom she wed on February 14, 1950, 3 sisters: Elizabeth Ann Pace, Stella Mae Pace & Ollie Pace Norris; 3 brothers: Sam Ed Pace, John Pace & Charles Pace, Jr.; 1 grandson: Christopher Robert Kirk.
 
SURVIVORS: 4 children: Linda Lue Kirk of Lexington, KY; Shirley Temple Kirk of Burkesville, KY; Malcolm Kirk Jr. (& Nancy) of Glasgow, KY; Beverly Kay Kirk of Arlington, Virginia; 1 sister: America Ann (& Rev. Fred) Williams of Jackson, TN; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
 
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 11:00amCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY
 
Burial: Davis Cemetery
 
Visitation: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 after 5:00pmCT
 
Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
