MARIE SPARKS, 82, JAMESTOWN


Marie Sparks, 82, of Jamestown, KY (formerly of Columbia, KY), died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Fair Oaks Health in Jamestown, KY.  Born in Russell Springs, KY she was the daughter of the late Lonzo and Maggie Stephens Smith and wife of the late James “Jimmy” Thomas Sparks.

 

Mrs. Sparks was a member of the Clearfork Baptist Church at Eli, KY and former employee of Young & Wilson Drug Store and Columbia Pharmacy in Columbia, KY.
 

SURVIVORS:

2 brothers: Charles M. Smith (Jo Nell) and Jeff A. Smith (Patty), both of Russell Springs, KY

2 sisters: Doris Barnes Blair and Glenna Bean (J.C.) both, of Russell Springs, KY

Several nieces, nephews, friends & other relatives 

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Sparks and a sister, Anna Norman.

 

Funeral Service: 1:00pmCT on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Sullivan officiating 

 

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

 

Visitation: Tuesday from 11:00am until time for the service

 

Pallbearers: Ryan Smith, Josh Smith, Jason Smith, Todd Barnes, Jonathan Smith, Steve Smith and Johnny Bean.

 

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Clearfork Baptist Church c/o Bro. Greg Wade @ 1176 Clearfork Rd. Russell Springs, KY 42642.
