PHILLIP DALE COMBEST, 78, RUSSELL SPRINGS

 
Phillip Dale Combest, 78, of Russell Springs, KY died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY after a long battle with cancer. He was born August 26, 1941 in Russell County to the late Phillip & Ruth Bledsoe Combest.
 
He managed an insurance services and inspection firm for 25 years before starting his own regional firm, Philco Reports, in 1986, which he owned and operated for 15 years in Cincinnati until his retirement and return to Russell Springs to live.
 
SURVIVORS
3 sons: Phillip Alan (Heather) Combest of Irvine, California; Paul David (Angie) Combest of Parker, Colorada; Michael Dale (Pinky) Combest of Shanghai, China
1 daughter: Julie Marie (Jimmy) Farthing of Liberty Township, Ohio
4 grandchildren: Tessa & Spencer Farthing, and Jacob & Carson Combest
4 sisters: Glenda (Danny) Coffey of Jamestown, KY; Betty Jo (Lynn) Wheat of Russell Springs, KY; Nancy (Steve) Shepard of Russell Springs, KY; LaDonna Cooper of Liberty, KY
Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends
His favorite aunt: Maxine Bledsoe (the widow of his favorite uncle, Allen Bledsoe)

 
Cremation was his choice, with his remains in the Sidney Campbell Family Cemetery.
 
All services will be PRIVATE.

Bernard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
