Shirley Jean Young, 80, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Jessie Wallace and Geneva (Payton) Whitehouse, passed from this life on Monday, April 27, 2020 at her home. She was born in Louisville, KY on April 2, 1940.
Mrs. Young had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Beulahland Community Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls and horse trinkets, and loved to find bargains at yard sales.

2 sons: James Phillip Cook, II of Campbellsville, and Mike Powell & wife Lori of Carthage, Missouri
3 step daughters: Linda Whitlock & husband Jesse of Casey County, Michelle Jones of Louisville, and Dorothy Francene Taylor of Adair County

Mrs. Young had requested cremation. All services were performed privately.
