CLIFTON WAYNE BURTON, 83, COLUMBIA

 
Clifton “Wayne” Burton, 83, of Columbia, KY died Monday, June 1, 2020 at his residence. Born in Adair County, KY, he was the son of the late Carl & Altha Lorena Pyles Burton.  
 
Mr. Burton was a member of the Purdy Separate Baptist Church and a Separate Baptist minister in the area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Keven Burton and a sister, JoAnn Burton.
 
SURVIVORS:
Wife: Alice Feese Burton of Columbia
2 sons: Daniel Burton (Crystal) and Timothy Burton both of Columbia
3 grandsons: Devin (Haley), Samuel and Christopher Burton
1 great-granddaughter: Amelya Burton
3 brothers: Toon (Ethel), Mick (Nancy) and Ralph (Peggy) Burton
2 sisters: Frankie Hatch (Marvin) and Gail Camfield (Randy)
Several nieces and nephews 
 
Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 1:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Richie Curtis and Bro. Jamie Bryant officiating 
 
Burial: Bearwallow Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post 6097
 
Visitation: Tuesday, June 3, 2020 from 4:00-8:00pmCT at the funeral home
