BILLY RAY HUMPHRESS, 71, COLUMBIA

 
Billy R. Humphress, 71, of Columbia, KY died Monday, June 22, 2020 at his home. He was born November 16, 1948 in Adair County, KY to the late Elza and Lonetta Thomas Humphress.
 
Billy was a member of Kellyville Community Church and a former truck driver.  He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, sitting outside and watching the animals, and above all loved his family.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Wallace, Joe & Wayne Humphress.  
 
SURVIVORS:
Wife: Sue Roberts Humphress of Columbia, KY
1 son: Kenny (Andrea) Humphress of Indianapolis, Indiana
3 daughters: Lisa (Adam) McRoy, Mindy Humphress, Amanda Sue (John) Thompson all of Indianapolis, IN
1 step-son: Terry (Michelle) Gooslin of Campbellsville, KY
2 sisters: Mary (Jim) Hamilton of Beason, IL;  Louise (“PeeWee”) Butler of Columbia, KY
10 Grandchildren
2 step-grandchildren
Several great-grandchildren
Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends
 
Funeral Service: Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 12 Noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Patton officiating
 
Burial: Columbia Cemetery
 
Visitation: Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 P.M.
 
Casket Bearers: Tony Ponzi, Dave Roberts, Adam Humphress, Cody Yates, Jordan Withers, Blake Corbin, Dustin Huckaby
 
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
