Betty Lucille Fisher, 74, of Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Russell County Hospital. She was born March 9, 1946 in Adair County to the late Marvin & Effie Bunch Grider.

Betty attended Faith Temple Church and was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. She has organized many benefits to help individuals pay funeral expenses, medical bills, etc. Betty has also organized an annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Russell County for the past 20 years with the help of many volunteers and businesses who donated food, money, etc. She worked tirelessly for people in our community who needed a helping hand and she will certainly be missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Eugene Grider & Junior Grider.

1 daughter: Lisa (Donnie) Clark, Russell Springs

1 grandson: Caleb Clark (& special friend Gracie Cape)

2 grand dogs: Abby & Ruby

Numerous other close friends & extended family members

Funeral service: 10:00amCT on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Sneed and Bro. Phillip Miller officiating.

Visitation: 6-8 PM on Thursday and 8-10 AM on Friday

Pallbearers: Tony Kerr, Chris Wilson, Josh Higginbotham, Evan Bray, Jesse Bray, Kevin Bray, and Stacy Brumley

The family request all visitors wear a face mask.
