James “Jim” Hill, 73, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at his home. Born on March 12, 1947 in Nome, Alaska, he was a son of the late Edwin and Mary Dotson Hill.
Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and a truck driver for 32 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and working with computers and electronics. Jim also liked watching old movies. He attended Grace Independent Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kinley Paige Brandt; and a son-in-law, Jordan LaFavers.

1 brother: Willis (and Laura) Hill, of Beaverton, Oregon
12 grandchildren: Jessica Kilpatrick, Amber Carmen, Ashley Mardis, Samantha Burchett, Lauryn Abney, Taylor Abney, Alyviah Newby, Addacin Hill, Kason Hill, Kagen Brandt, Kynadie Brandt, and Nolan LaFavers
10 great-grandchildren: Patience Calhoun, Harmony Hodge, Braydyn Burchett, Taylynn Burchett, Aubrey Kilpatrick, Elizabeth Carmen, Abby Carmen, Chevy Carmen, Noah Burchetta, and Mira Bieber
Due to COVID restrictions, funeral services will be held privately for family only at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Caleb Shirley officiating. Burial will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery with military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
Social distancing must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
