Nancy Ellen Carter Burton, 69, of Columbia, KY died Sunday, February 28, 2021 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. Born in Ann Arbor, MI she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lola Pettyjohn Carter.
Mrs. Burton attended Freedom Church of God and was a member of the Pure Gospel Quartet. She loved riding Off-Road Side-by-Sides and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

2 children: Tammy Burton Powell (David) and Scott Burton (Melissa) both of Columbia, KY
7 grandchildren: Kyle, Jessica, Hope, Devin, Charlie, Autumn and Alex
2 great-grandchildren: Elias and Elizabeth
2 sisters: Edna Davis and Carolyn Hamlett both of Columbia, KY

Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Allen officiating
Burial: Freedom Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Wednesday morning until time for the service
