Ollion D. Garner, 81, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021, at his home. Born October 23, 1939 in Creelsboro, KY, he was a son of the late Frank and Arvilla Higginbotham Garner.
Ollion was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for many years as a toll booth manager and supervisor. He volunteered many hours at God’s Food Pantry. Ollion enjoyed traveling in his camper, watching Westerns, and UK Basketball. Ollion was loved by everyone he knew.

1 brother: Carlos Garner of Indiana
2 sisters: Dorothy Holt of Jamestown, KY and Jo Ann (and David) Zimmerman of Florida
1 granddaughter: Journey Garner
2 step-grandchildren: Casey Cappa and Rachel Barnfield
In addition to his parents, Ollion was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Lee Garner; 3 sisters: Opal McLarty, Carlene Brumley, and Ruby Garner; his former wife, Carolyn Yvonne Garner; and his companion, Charlotte Ross.
Funeral service: Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home, with Bro. Johnny Hood officiating.
Burial: Dixon Cemetery with military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard
Visitation: 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Bernard Funeral Home
