MELISSA DAWN ACREE ROWE, 47, SOMERSET, KY (FORMERLY OF RUSSELL SPRINGS)


Melissa Dawn Acree Rowe, 47, of Somerset, KY, formerly of Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Born on December 8, 1973 in Somerset, she was the daughter of Jeffrey and Sandra Paulette Roy Acree. 
 

She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Therapy through her studies at Lindsey Wilson College and Somerset Community College. 
 

She married Theron Rowe on June 10, 2019.  Melissa loved spending time with her family.  She liked to cook, fish and work in her garden.

 

SURVIVORS:

Husband: Theron Rowe

Father: Jeff Acree of Russell Springs

2 step-sons: Jacob Rowe and Jared Rowe both of Somerset

4 grandchildren: Rayden Rowe, Kaiden Rowe, Jack Rowe and Hunter Rowe

Aunts, uncles and cousins

2 special friends: Regina Woods and Jackie Redmon

 

Preceding Melissa in death is her mother, Sandra Paulette Acree.

 

Funeral Service: Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Bernard Funeral Home. 
 

Burial: White’s Chapel Cemetery.

 

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CST on Saturday, at Bernard Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to White’s Chapel Cemetery.

 

Melissa’s funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.bernardfuneralhome.com.
