AUDREY LOY PING, 94, DANVILLE, KY (RUSSELL CO. NATIVE)

 
Audrey Loy Ping, 94, of Danville, KY (formerly of Russell County), passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Morning Pointe of Danville. She was born August 21, 1926 in Russell Springs, KY to the late William Otha and Leora Helm Loy. 
 
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Howard Ping; a daughter, Cheryl Ping; and the following siblings: James, Crella, Thelma, Velmer, Woodrow, Jewell, Ilene, Bennie, Azro, Clarence, Hila, and Helen.
 
Audrey was a faithful member of Centenary Methodist Church in Danville.
 
SURVIVORS:
1 son: Keith Ping (Linda) of Harrodsburg, KY
2 sisters: Ann Frazee of Indiana and Edith Dunbar of Tennessee
2 grandchildren: Michael Ping (Ashley) of Harrodsburg, KYand Erik Ping (Christie) of Lexington, KY
3 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Owen and Madelyn Ping 
Several nieces & nephews
 
Funeral Service: Friday, April 16, 2021 at 12:00pmCT at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Garner officiating
 
Burial: Friday at 1:30pmCT at Camp Nelson National Cemetery’s Committal Shelter
 
Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Friday at the funeral home
 
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
