Bessie Louise Withers, 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Born October 12, 1945 in Louisville, KY, she was a daughter of the late Mackie and Louise Howard Huddleston.
Bessie was a homemaker and attended Bernard Ridge Church of God. She was a loving mom and grandmother. She was known by everyone as “Granny.”

1 son, Raymond (and Marline) Withers of Russell Springs
1 daughter, Melissa Keith of Russell Springs
3 brothers, Norman Huddleston, Stan Huddleston, and Wayne Huddleston
3 sisters, Georgia Anglin, Frances Huddleston, and Carolyn Fields
3 grandchildren: Brad (and Katie) Withers of Lexington, Carrie (and Jason) Harrington of Aubrey, Texas, and Laura Keith (and Cody Fields) of Columbia
4 great-grandchildren: Sylvia Withers, Bennett Withers, and Sloane Withers, of Lexington, and Alexander Harrington of Aubrey, Texas
In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death her husband, Charles Withers, who passed away January 17, 2002; and a brother, Charles Huddleston.
Graveside services will be held for family only. Burial will be in Bernard Ridge Cemetery.
