Jessie Elbert Hagan, 75, of Columbia, KY died Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born in Columbia, KY on November 1, 1945 to the late Clyde E. and Erie Ellen Tabor Hagan.
Jessie was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was Chaplain of the Breeding Volunteer Fire Department. He was a farmer, Gas attendant at Lynn’s Service Center and Gate Worker at Bluegrass Stockyards. He loved going to church, mowing his yard and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Lynn Hagan; 4 brothers: L. W., Edward, Earl and Ernest Hagan; and 2 sisters: Louise Bendner and Margie Samuell.
Funeral Service: Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial: Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery
Visitation: Sunday from 1:00-8:00pmCT and Monday morning until time for the service
Fireman’s Honor Guard will be provided by Breeding Volunteer Fire Department.
